We're Here to Listen
Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
The relationships you develop with your children are the first relationships they will have. Fostering a meaningful relationship will set the foundation and strengthen not only the bond between you and your child, but give them the tools needed to develop and maintain healthy relationships in the future. Integrating infant massage into your daily routines build a secure attachment right from the beginning of your relationship, improving your baby’s wellness and bond.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
There are multiple types of relationships that could benefit from relationship counseling. Premarital/marital conflict, infidelity, multiple partners, LGBTQ, best friends/circles, or coworkers (to name a few). Relationship counseling can be beneficial to those who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held in a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
Group Therapy is designed to target a specific problem with individuals who share similar experiences and struggles. Members, lead by the therapist, act as a support network by sharing their stories and providing each other resources for improving a difficult situation or life challenge.
College can be an overwhelming sense of anxiety. Most therapist/counseling/social worker graduate school programs have a requirement for personal therapy hours to be completed prior to graduation from their programs. We offer individual and group therapy for college and graduate students.
The Phoenix Counseling Group is facilitated by Steven Brewer, LMFT and Anna Lopez, LMFT, LPCC. They attended Brandman University and have a combined 12 years experience in community mental health prior to working in private practice.
